“Yeah. I bill them for services rendered, and they pay me with use of the airplane. That way there’s a paper trail.”
“Mike would love to have his own plane, but we can’t justify spending that much money on a hobby,” George said.
“Were you able to get Ted into St. Mark’s?” Mitch said.
“No, but he’s on a waiting list,” Chris said.
“Will you look at other private schools?”
“I don’t think so. Too many of them seem to be run by fundamentalist churches.”
“What about Catholic schools?” Kevin said.
“We hadn’t thought about that,” Chris said.
“There’s an elementary school just a few blocks from us,” Mickey said. “We’re probably going to take him there.”
“Good luck with that,” Mitch said.
“What do you mean?”
“The fact that you live nearby, or even next door, is no guarantee that you’ll be able to get him into that school.”
“Why not?”
