Chapter 64

“This is my room,” Robbie said.

“It sure is,” George said.

“Can Anthony share it with me, Dad?”

George looked at us, Kevin and I both nodded, and he said, “Sure.”

“George,” Charles said, “you and Mike are next door, as usual, and the rooms directly across the hall are for the rest of our guests. Bathrooms are on either side of your rooms. Philip and I will wait in the study at the head of the stairs to take you down to lunch.”

He led Grandma to a room located across from Robbie and Anthony and showed us into the room next door.

“Can Anthony and I take Thor downstairs?” Robbie said. “He probably needs to go outside.”

“Sure, Robbie,” Charles said. “You know the way. I expect Lance is in the sunroom, and he can go outside and romp around with Thor.”

“Thanks,” Robbie said.

“If you boys go outside with the dogs,” I said, “be sure to bundle up—it’s a bit chilly out there.”

“I second that,” George said.
