“I put you aside, Logan White,” Stefano began
loudly, turning from them until he was making direct eye contact
with Logan, and then he continued. “You are no longer my mate, and
I disavow all the claims I have upon you. You will no longer share
my house, my bed, or my life. Your shiver is not my shiver, and
your heart is not my heart.”
The room was quiet, and I squeezed Logan’s
hand. It was kind of sad to think that a divorce with this group
was more beautiful than a wedding.
“You can get the fuck out now, Stefanie,”
Stefano said. “I hope that you got to see everything that you
wanted to tonight. It will be the last show you’ll see at my
expense. And take your lackeys with you.”
“We’re still part of your shiver,” Stefanie
began. “Just because you divorced him doesn’t mean you have to turn
your back on us.”
