“Where are you going?” Mike said.
“Patience.”
I found a low-end LaserJet and placed the box in the shopping cart.
“We may have a need to print something up here from a laptop,” I said.
“Good idea. Don’t forget to buy a cable. Printers don’t include that little item these days.”
On the way to the cabin, we stopped at the bakery and picked up the bread and a few goodies.
“That’s a lot of pastry,” Mike said as we loaded the car.
“So we run up and down the mountain three times a day instead of twice.”
“That should work off the extra calories,” he said.
At the cabin, we put our purchases away and decided to go up the mountain at a slow jog. “This is much harder than running the bridges,” Mike said after we’d gone about a mile.
“That means it’s that much better for us,” I said.
“No argument there.”
At the cabin and freshly showered, we used the grilled chicken breasts left over from dinner to make a chicken Caesar salad.
