“Be careful, babe. It’s kind of dark out here,” Quentin said.

“Yeah, but there’s just enough moonlight for me to see the centerline of the road, and we both know that there’s nobody on the road ahead.”

“I’m sorry you didn’t get to do what we came out here to do.”

“We’ll do it another time,” Nate said. “Besides, I think this is going to be more exciting.”

“What do you mean?”

“Surely, we’re not going to just leave and not come back.”

“True, I guess we have a crime or crimes to solve, don’t we?” Quentin said.

“We could just call George at the Sheriff’s office.”

“And tell him what, exactly?”

“Yeah, it isn’t that simple, is it?” Nate said.

“Far from it.”

“So what are we going to do?”
