“Apparently not you.” I’d never heard him so low. “What’s got you depressed?”


He sighed. “I’m bored. Lyn and Syd are out of the country, so I can’t even watch them make out. And do you know what I had to resort to doing?”


“I have no idea, but I’m sure you’re going to tell me.”


“Damn straight, I am. I’ve been watching All My Children.”


“I tape it during the week and watch it again on the weekend.”
