Sept 1, 1972: We went out on Gary and Trish’s boat, the Patricia Jane, for a three-hour cruise. It was great! They were in the paper as well. That boat is HUGE. It’s a former fishing boat.
Nov 5, 1972: We moved Mom and Dad into their new trailer. Amy and Frankie did a LOT of work.
Dec 25, 1972: Turkey again, peaceful day, Mom and Dad here for dinner. Dollhouses, hockey game were big hits.
Feb 24, 1973: Amy to orthodontist—$11.25. Took both Frankie and her to the eye doctor at Wards—that was $68.
Mar 15, 1973: Amy had three teeth out for orthodontics—we went to Sander’s first for ice cream. Later at Girl Scouts, Amy got two badges.
Mar 17, 1973: We had seven inches of snow and there is more coming down. The kids and I played “fox and geese” out back—and Star played too!
Mar 31, 1973: Amy, Laura and I went to see “Sounder” today. Dashed through the rain and got just soaked!
