Sadly,it couldn’t last.It was too soon for what their cats wanted,and when they got to the edge of the forest again,Noah shifted first and pulled his clothes on.He waited for Dallas to shift,making sure the other man was okay with the shifting,before clearing his throat.


“I think there will be a proper breakfast by now.”He was filling the uncomfortable silence,but the words weren’t hostile or defensive.


“Okay,”Dallas said and smiled hesitantly.“This was nice.Good.Especially for the cat.Thank you,Noah.”
