The next day was hectic.Nobody wanted to wait for the worst of the Christmas shopping rush,so even though it was only the seventeenth and in Finland everyone celebrated on the twenty-fourth,they were up bright and early to leave for the shopping.


Noah and Dallas grabbed large thermos mugs of coffee to go,and Shani gave them sandwiches with their favorite fillings,smiling shyly when they thanked her thoughtfulness.


Once in the car,Dallas relaxed again.“Is everyone on overdrive every Christmas?”he asked Noah,who started the car.


“Yeah,they used to be.This is closer to normal now,I think.”The jaguar smiled wistfully


“So,we have the list.Let’s see….”Dallas sipped from his coffee and looked at the two sheets of paper.


“What’s the verdict?”Noah smiled as he drove through the lightly snowy countryside roads.
