Mikael Jarvela may only be a half shifter, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be alpha of the eastern Finland farm-turned-sanctuary his father founded. Chuffed

The tiger let out a frustrated,disappointed,heartbreaking roar,and by sheer instinct,Mikael raised his bow,aimed at the rabbit,and pulled the bow’s trigger.One whistling sound through the air and a tiny thump of the arrow.The rabbit was dead with one shot.


Mikael felt amazed that he had made the shot and then he smiled.It wasn’t until he turned his gaze to Maxim that he saw the tiger had stopped.He was panting,but the look he shot at Mikael was full of something…wrong.


“No,no,no,no,”Mikael called out.“I didn’t mean to….”


But it was too late.The tiger was already running back toward the farm,leaving Mikael further behind with ever-purposeful strides.
