Mark Vincent has risen from senior special agent to Director of Interior Affairs in the WBIS. The woman read the order back to me, made a notation on it, then gestured to a chair and a cooler. “Help yourself to drinks. Order this size, drinks on the house.” She grinned and disappeared into the back of the restaurant.


The cooler held cans of soda and bottles of juice and water. I pulled out a couple of bottles of water and placed them on the counter, then sat down and made myself comfortable.
