Yes, it was us two. I followed Gregor back to the front door.

He trotted down the steps and called over his shoulder, “See you tomorrow.”

“Bye, Gregor. And thank you again.”

He waved, got in the car, and soon disappeared down the road, and I closed the door, armed the alarm, and went to put the groceries away. Gregor had bought a loaf of bread, a dozen eggs, a package of turkey bacon, and a carton of cream, as well as a couple of thick porterhouse steaks, which alone came to forty dollars.
