I reached around and pinched his ass. “Why would they? All Sebring spouses are buried there.” Although Mother would be interred with Father at Arlington. Gregor would also be buried in the military cemetery, since he’d served in the Navy.

“Thanks, babe.” Mark’s voice was gruff. “I’ve got that covered.”

“All right, but as long as you’re aware.” I could see he was touched, but seriously, why wouldn’t I make that offer?

He cleared his throat. “And then I have to look into getting Joe’s name changed legally.”

“To Joseph Wells?”

“Are you nuts? To Joseph Vincent.”

I rose, wrapped my arms around him, and tucked my head under his chin. “Didn’t I say you were a good man?”

Instead of responding to that, he groused, “You’re getting shaving cream all over my undershirt.”

“So sorry.” I backed away, reached for a towel, and started to clean it off. “Damn, this isn’t working. I’m afraid you’ll have to take it off.”
