Chapter 114

Quinn got us into her office. It was obvious the first one belonged to her personal assistant. The name plate on the desk informed us that was Finchley. Quinn glowered at it. “I am looking forward to seeing him again.”

I patted his shoulder. I didn’t often have a chance to see my husband in action, and I couldn’t wait to see what he would do to the prissy little man.

A quick glance through Finchley’s file cabinets rewarded us with not only a list of BIMOS employees, past and present, alive and deceased, but identifying pictures beside each one.

Quinn pointed to a name we’d heard recently. “Deuce?”

“Yeah. And according to this, he left BIMOS a couple of years ago.”

“Does it say why?” He began going through Finchley’s desk drawers.

I scanned the handwritten notes, then shook my head. “It just says it was okayed by Gautier.”

“It would be interesting to talk to him.”
