Theo pulled out of her mouth, immediately turning around in order to press his mouth to hers. His tongue sought out the fluid she hadn’t yet swallowed completely, taking it for his own, and she clung to his back, needy of the strength he possessed. Gently, Quin pulled away. Rather than join them on the bed, she heard him cross to the bathroom, the water in the sink running for a moment before he returned. A warm cloth swiped across her sore bottom, cleaning her off with a tenderness only Quin could exhibit.
Theo broke the kiss, wiping away the sweaty strands of hair sticking to her forehead. “Do you not see how it could be now?” he asked quietly.
