“Nope, I don’t think so. I think they would have been more forthright. Olivia is the type to come right out and say what she means. If it turns out that way. Let me know. Like all of our people, I figure we are just one camera shot away from exposure,” Cole said. “I don’t think that Dr. Kamara would ever hurt us, at least not intentionally.

“So why do you think they want me to come to dinner?” I asked, hoping Cole had an insight.

“Well, what reason did they give?”

“They said they wanted to get to know me better. He said he had heard some wonderful things about me,” I answered.

“Well, then that’s what I would assume they want. People do that, you know.”

“Yeah, but I hope that wonderful news didn’t include anything about me being a dolphin,” I said. “He’s a TV journalist for God’s sake.”

“I’m sure she wouldn’t tell him, and anyway, no one would believe him if he tried to report it. The whole world would think he was crazy,” Cole said, his voice less sure than his words.
