Chapter 49

I leaned back in my chair, folded my hands behind my head, and contemplated the view out my window. Six hours before they landed at Dulles, which would make it sometime after midnight Eastern Time, and then another three-quarters of an hour for him to get home. It was the weekend, and State offices were shut down. As for Langley, even Mann, almost as much a workaholic as I was, wasn’t likely to go in at that time of night.

This would be a good time to pay a visit to Quinton Mann’s town house.

After a quick trip down to R&D to pick up some supplies, I went home to shower and shave and change into a pair of black jeans and a black turtleneck sweater.
