Chapter 106

“Now you’ve made me very curious, DB.”

“You’ll just have to wait. Anyway, I didn’t call to gloat.” Oh, hadn’t he? I grinned in spite of myself. “I just wanted to make sure we were still on for tonight.”

“Well, after a teaser like that, I should think so.”

“The Rib Shack at seven, then, okay? See you later, Quinn. Oh, man, do I have a lot to tell you.”

Smiling, I hung up the phone. Dinner with my friend would be uncomplicated, unlike having a meal with a certain senior special agent who was now a deputy director of the WBIS.

How long should I wait before making my next move? Would Mark object to another visit tonight, or should I perhaps play hard to get?

I pondered that for a few minutes before deciding that being coy was vastly overrated. After I parted company with DB after dinner, I’d drive over to a certain apartment house in Forest Heights. This time I’d fuck him. I licked my lips at the thought of riding his hot, tight ass, then determinedly got back to work.
