He liked Kathy.

He still didn’t trust Brandon, or Sully as Joshua called him, but he was willing to give Brandon the benefit of a doubt.

Eli’s musings halted when “Pomp and Circumstance” played and they all stood up.

I wish Micha were here to see his son graduate.

The next two hours flew by and Eli took more than fifty photos before the exit march began with the digital camera he rarely used. After all the names were called, and the program ended, Eli met Joshua near the side entrance they had designated earlier. All three of the new graduates, Kathy, Joshua, and Sully still had their caps and gowns.

“Eli, before we turn these back in can we get a picture of the three of us?”

“Sure.”
