Chapter 25

“Well, when you’re ready to put up a house and stable, you let us know.”

“I will.”

Frank returned to the home camp and finished preparing their meal.

They ate supper and watched their second sunset over their new land. In the near distance, they saw the Nordhuff campfire burn brightly into the evening. In the far distance, they saw the faint lights and smoke from the Osage fires. Every once in a while, they caught the sounds of the Indian camp preparing for their spring rituals.
