The next couple days were a flurry of last-minute arrangements and obstacles. Julie had a minor nervous breakdown because she accidentally stepped on the front of her dress during her fitting and put a small tear in it. She wouldn’t calm down for an hour, despite everyone assuring her it would be okay. Blake stepped in with a calming neck and scalp massage while Travis held her hand.

“I don’t care if we get married in matching burlap sacks,” he said. “So long as I get to spend the rest of my life with you, I’ll be the happiest man alive.”
