Twin brothers Brian and Matt Walker went to live with their mother’s brother after the death of their parents at an early age. Brian stared at his phone’s clock. It was 10:45, which meant his brother had another fifteen minutes before he’d be late for curfew. He hit his cell’s redial again but this time the phone didn’t even ring and just went straight to voicemail.  His Uncle Jake was locked up in his study after he’d gotten wind of Brian’s mood and let him be after a failed attempt starting up another conversation.
