Sentinel

Both Adam and Castiel jerked up straight in their seats when Jason and Danny ambled in, twin sets of hazel eyes barely open and searching for coffee, Castiel wagered. Adam grinned when he noticed the state they were in, but focused back on Castiel after a moment. “So, what happened?”


“During the last great battle, approximately seventy seven thousand years ago, as humans count time, our adversary breached the Shield. It is my greatest failure that the enemy was able to break through and deal a lethal blow to Lucifer, whose body fell to Earth.” He could still see, so very many years later, the blaze of his sibling extinguish in an instant and the ruins plummet to the ground immeasurably far below.
