A fireball burning up the sky leads farmer Jason Thomas to the strangest thing he's ever found in his pumpkin patch. A man with wings. “What happened?” Jason barked, struggling to keep the big one from taking them both to the floor in a heap.


“I opened the door.” Danny couldn’t seem to take his eyes off the being he had. “They fell on me.”


“You guys do know it’s barely six in the morning, right?” Adam piped up from somewhere behind them. “Whoa!”


A glance over his shoulder showed Adam half in and out of the living room, owlishly blinking the sleep from his eyes. “Go get Castiel.”


Adam nodded hard enough to hurt himself and scampered off. He tried to heave the big guy up when he started to slide out of Jason’s hold. Jason stumbled, almost planting both of them again. Damn, the guy was huge. “We gotta stash these two somewhere before I lose my grip on this one.”


“This one can stay in my room,” Danny said and hefted the being a fraction higher. Figures.
