Jax felt horrible for Natalie and offered her very little help, if any, during her sessions. After six billable hours with Ms. Priest, he had professionally determined that her issueswere beyond his expertise. He was going to recommend Dr. Shirley Mills as Natalie’s therapist in the future. Dr. Mills specialized in narcissistic behavior at Dartmouth, knowing exactly what to do for Natalie, assisting her needs.

Enough about Natalie Priest and her fucked up face, he thought.

There was a little coffee shop two blocks away called The Coffee Abyss that sold the best chilled caramel lattes for a reasonable price. He had plenty of time to walk the distance, order his beverage, and get back to his office before Ms. Priest’s arrival. Plus, he needed some fresh air. The day offered plenty of that since it was stunning out, in the low eighties, and no clouds in the baby blue sky.
