Chapter 24

The church was decorated with white roses and satin ribbons of the same hue. Rose petals garnished the center aisle, and candles in faux silver candelabras lined the walls. The groom stood at the head of the church, on the right side. Walter Randolph Epstein was dressed in a black and white tux from a local designer named Steven de Sola. The tux was hand sewn, an original, and quite the amount of money, but not as steep in price as the bride’s gown, which I had learned while eavesdropping on one of the guests seated by me.
