Jamie shook her head. “Honey, if you ever need help with anything or even need an ear or a shoulder to lean on, you have my number, and you know where I live.”

“Thanks, Jamie, I appreciate it.”

Jamie sat back and smiled. “And if you ever need any…you know,” she raised her eyebrows to see if Cam knew what she was talking about, “I know quite a few who’d line up to help you, now that you’re no longer in uniform.

“Really?” Cam chuckled.

“Hell yes,” Jamie exclaimed, “There were a lot who never approached you because you werea cop.”

“Oh, Jamie,” Cam tried to laugh it off.

“Now that you have that bad boyreputation, you could probably have two a night for a year and never see the same face twice.” Jamie chortled loudly.

“Bad boy?”

Jamie smirked. “Sure, you’ve been in prison. That’s a real turn-on for some girls. You know…the danger, the excitement…to be with someone who has actually survived prison? The chance that it could get a little rough?”
