Still, Larry wasn’t about to confide his growing feelings about Geoff to his new friend. No need to scare the guy off right away. For one thing, Larry couldn’t get a bead on him. Usually he could feel a fellow out—call it gaydar or intuition or whatever, but after a little small talk, he knew whether or not he could make a pass at someone without being rebuffed. But Geoff, though…there was something about him Larry couldn’t quite pin down. They got along great, always seemed to be in sync, were on the same wavelength, had the same sense of humor, everything. And yet Larry didn’t know what would happen between them if he were to say or do anything to suggest something more than mere friendship.
