Back in college, Larry Carson played drums in a friend’s band and fell in love with the lead singer, Geoffrey Mason. But all that’s in the past. Larry’s now thirty-five, divorced, and father to a precocious thirteen-year-old daughter. Larry shook with unspent adrenaline. He couldn’t stand this much longer. He didn’t want to have to choose between Doug and Geoff, but if he had to, he knew who he’d pick. He would never be satisfied with the band when Geoff was everything he’d ever wanted.


Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he returned to his packing. He had to go. Geoff was expecting him.


The break between semesters was exactly what Larry needed to recharge and refocus. He came back in January more in love with Geoff than ever…and convinced they had to cut ties with the band.
