A throng of looky-loos distracted Garrett. Eron found a lemonade stand and brought back a cup for each of them. He leaned against a tent pole and watched him in action.
During a break from interested customers, Garrett put the lid back on the jar and shook the mixture. The clear liquid and oil mixed together.
“What’s that?”
“White vinegar and olive oil, Bates swears by it. Says it’s what his mother used on all her woodwork. Now he uses it on his furniture. Bates says that’s what helps this stuff last so long, the natural polish.”
