Chapter 40

Morgan slipped a hand under Evan’s chin and turned the man’s head to face him again. “Since I met you, I haven’t been able to get you out of my mind.”

Evan pulled away from Morgan’s hold and stood abruptly. “Do as I say, Morgan. Do notdream of me.”

Morgan watched Evan pace frantically in front of him, gaze first on the closet door, then on the window. Evan seemed agitated, nervous. Beneath the surface, however, Morgan felt the thickness of the air, the electricity of attraction filling the room. Evan felt the same, Morgan was certain, but he refused to act on it. In a momentary lapse of reason, Morgan stood and shoved Evan against the wall. Evan’s eyes narrowed and darkened to black, and his body tensed against Morgan’s.

“I want you,” Morgan whispered as he brushed his lips over Evan’s. “Tell me you don’t feel the same, and I will never bother you again.”
