It wasn’t until another parcel for Christian O’Neill arrived at the post office that Alexander thought about him. Since meeting Adam, he’d been spending every spare minute by his side, helping him with his great uncle’s house, and every moment at work thinking about him. He’d never been in love before. It was a curious feeling. It almost felt as though he’d lost a part of himself and the resulting empty space had been filled by someone else. No longer did he think about himself. When he wondered what to have for dinner, he thought about what Adam would like. If he suggested a leisure activity, it was invariably something he knew Adam would appreciate.
