The next several ticket counters belonged to smaller regional airlines, running small planes to small airports in small countries. They would be of little help to me, but once I had put several of their check-in counters between myself and the World Wind mayhem, a relative calm gradually crept over me and the rest of the airport. American Airlines ran a huge domestic and international operation in Miami, and their logo was plastered on every flat surface. I followed the blue and red arrows to their domestic ticket counters, which were as good a starting point as any.
