“No, he did not.”

“And how did he and every one of his men treat you and your crew?” Seth continued.

“With respect.”

“And when he departed from your ship?”

Andersen sighed again and said, “He left us unharmed and with enough provisions to reach a safe port.”

“So no one on your ship was killed or harmed in any way?”

“Your worship,” the naval officer broke in. “Drakon is not on trial for murder, or acts of violence of any kind. He is on trial for piracy, a crime for which he has been identified and has just confessed to. As captain of The Dragonhe has a well-known reputation as being fair and merciful to his victims. However, that is beside the point, and does not mitigate the charges against him. He was a pirate. He admits it in his own words.”
