“I never doubted it,” Rian replied. “He wouldn’t be working with Zander if he wasn’t.” Turning his gaze directly on Caiden, he said, “Are you willing to do this?”

“Help catch Lockey? Yes. The rest? I’ll consider it, but no promises.”

“That’s all I can ask. Will you need to check in with Zander first?”

“He pretty much gave me blanket permission to make my own choice.” Caiden barely smiled. “I think I’ll pass on letting him know the codicil to our agreement. He might put his foot down on that, and I’d rather come to a decision without his pressuring me.”

“Then, let’s get down to it. What do you need from me?” Rian asked.

“Pictures of Kingsley, videos, and every bit of information you have on him from the day he was born.”

Rian winced. “You don’t want much, do you? I can see why, though. It will take me twenty-four hours to get it all together, with Kingsley’s help, since he is involved.”
