Chapter 12

I gave him a quick kiss and grope before I stepped back. “How’s your ass today?” I asked, squeezing a butt cheek.

“Well-used, just the way I like it,” he replied, leering at me. “Hey, I wanted to go into town to get us some supplies after Mom wakes up. The wedding guests just about tapped us out and we need to restock. There’s a Costco and a huge farmer’s market an hour from here. You game?”

“Sure. Are we leaving Bambi or taking her with us?”

He grinned. “She can come along. She’s family, after all.”

“Cool.”

We were on the road an hour later, with Bambi’s head hanging out the back window, in doggy heaven. “She loves feeling the wind on her muzzle, I’ve noticed. She did that on the trip up here,” I said.
