Chapter 16

Tyler looked in their direction. “Doesn’t seem fair does it?” He looked wistfully back at Ward. Tyler had chosen to marry Tiffany, a red herring designed to keep anyone from guessing what had been going on between the two men. That had driven Ward away—something Tyler hadn’t anticipated. He didn’t want that to happen again.

But now they were adults, could Ward be satisfied with the kind of relationship they’d had in high school—keeping it all on the down low? Or would he want more? If he did, could Tyler give more?

Ward interrupted Tyler’s thoughts.

“Johnny’s got the hots for you, you know.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Johnny. He wants you.”

“How do you know?”

“God, I thought he was gonna drop to his knees right there in the shower room.”

“You’re crazy,” Tyler said laughing.

“No, seriously. You don’t have to have gaydar to see how he drools when he looks at you.”

“Gaydar?” Tyler asked. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
