When the chaos had died down to a manageable level, his waiter finally approached Marshall’s table. He took a moment to shake off all the accumulated nervous energy before raising his head and flashing a dazzling smile at Marshall. His generously wide mouth was full of perfect teeth and his smile caused his warm brown eyes to almost disappear. Marshall couldn’t help but to smile back. It was the most genuine and charming smile he’d ever seen.
“Let’s start over. Hey, I’m Sean and I’ll be your server today. Can I start you off with a refill of soda?”
“Hey, Sean. I’m Marshall. A refill would be good, thanks.”
“Do you know what you’d like to order or would you like a little more time?”
Marshall chuckled. “I think I’m ready to order.”
