“Now me, on the other hand…” began Kip.
“I’m filing a sexual harassment suit the second we get this damn bush out of the ground.”
With a hardy laugh, Kip tossed back Marshall’s glove.

Marshall decided not to go to Trixy’s that night. He felt embarrassed for Sean and awkward about the whole public lovers’ quarrel. He instead decided to grab some fast food and eat it in his car on the way home before sneaking into his house, hopefully undetected by Jillian. He was afraid to turn on his TV or any lights as they seemed to attract her like a moth to a flame.
As he lay in the darkness, his thoughts kept going back to the angry Will Crandall. He wondered what Sean had seen in him. He seemed so classless. Not to mention low-rent and crude. His clothes weren’t very stylish. He was really wimpy, now that Marshall thought about it. Sean could do better. Then again, if Will was right and Sean was a thief, maybe they deserved each other.
