Chapter 20

“Adam Colfer.” He offered his hand, which the guy shook.

“Hey there.”

“Oh, Adam, this is my friend, Tony. Tony Cassidy.”

Adam blinked. Ten years ago Galaxy had gone to the club where they’d met with a Tony. Couldn’t be the same guy.

“Been a long time.” Tony flashed him a grin that would probably fell most gay men.

“You…wow.” Adam was thunderstruck. “You’ve changed a lot in ten years.”

Tony laughed. “I guess I have. I’m a cold case detective in Los Angeles.”

Adam couldn’t believe the guy from ten years ago was now a cop. He just stared stupidly. He gasped when Galaxy elbowed him in the gut.

“Stop staring, geez,” Galaxy whispered. Louder he said, “You didn’t tell me you were coming.”

“Thought I’d surprise you. Just wrapped up a case. I stopped at your house first and Leo said you were here.”

“I’m really glad to see you, but I’ve got to finish my shift. You want to sit in that booth? Adam’s food is great.”

Tony nodded. “Sounds great. Maybe an iced tea to start?”
