Chapter 8

“Come on!” Ian smacked him playfully on the butt. “Let’s get going. Consider this one of those now or never moments.”

Grumbling, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, Stephan ran a hand through his tousled hair. “Next time, I should remember to just let you sleep and to banish any crazy ideas I might have in the meantime. I could have avoided this whole mess just by leaving you there in the library.” He flashed Ian a warm smile. “You looked so cute with your book open on your lap, Mushu using you as a bed. All sweet and innocent. Unlike a few minutes ago.”

“Keep it up…”

Stephan glanced down at his crotch. “I might need your help for that.”

It took Ian a moment, but then he was laughing. For the first time that day he felt on top of the moon, like he could take on anything the universe might throw in his direction; which was definitely a good thing. 5
