What he needed, however, was to figure out how to get Stephan’s father to join them. Stephan might say one thing, but he knew his lover too well. The lack of his father’s approval had broken something inside of Stephan. Maybe if he had a chance to speak with the older Rodgers he could get him to see things from their side, without forcing him to accept their relationship. Though he was of course all for equality and supported such measures whenever possible, he also followed the simple philosophy of live and let live. He didn’t want people to have the right to dictate what he did with his life; why should he do the same to them?
