That came totally out of left field. “Pam, I appreciate the recognition, but why would you suggest I leave? I like what I do here, and I like the people I work for.”
“I know, but it just seems to me that if you are being harassed at work, it only makes sense to move on to less hostile territory. Anyway, I have to go get the coffee, and you need to get your drawings for the meeting. Just think about what I said.”
As she walked to her desk, Tina wondered if Martin spoke to others about what they had discussed. She’d assumed their conversation was confidential. Right now, she was worried about her boss and wanted to do well at this meeting. She put Pam’s remarks out of her mind.
