After a chaos-filled summer, Kiko and Dom are ready to ease into a more laidback autumn and really put in some quality time together. Allowing Dom's ex roommate to crash with them, however, turns out to be a mistake when the guy won't leave.<br><br>Dom struggles to cope as Travis dredges up things from his past he'd rather not remember and slowly casts doubts on his relationship with Kiko. “You’re the only people not talking about Spencer,” she said.


“Trust me, Travis is more of a concern,” said Kiko, and she laughed. She was warming to them.


“Ashley says he forgot her name. Can you believe that?”


“Unfortunately, yes,” said Dom. He stared firmly at his beer.


“Is there anything interesting being said about Spencer?” asked Kiko like it just occurred to him he might be missing out on interesting conversation. The waitress shifted on her feet and rolled her eyes.


“Oh, I’ve heard everything. Most people think he slept with the wrong woman and her man went after him, some people think he was involved in something, drugs maybe. It was a deal gone wrong. I think the best one is the government conspiracy theory. They killed him because he knew too much.”


“Why would he know too much?” asked Kiko.
