Chapter 41

Pulling back slightly, Jonathan kissed the tip of Micah’s nose. “Did you bring the gifts?”

“In my bag,” Micah murmured before he covered Jonathan’s mouth with his again.

The next time Jonathan broke away, he asked, “Want to see those boxers now?”

Micah’s hands clenched in Jonathan’s clothing. “Oh, God, please yes.”

Jonathan led Micah to his bedroom. Though he’d visited before, Micah had never seen beyond the closed door at the end of the hallway off the living room. As far as he’d been was the bathroom; the bedroom was a little farther down on the right. Micah felt growing anticipation as Jonathan opened the door and led him inside the darkened room.

For a long moment, Micah waited in the doorway as Jonathan forged ahead. Then there was a tiny click!and a lamp beside the bed came on, bathing the sheets in a golden glow and pushing the shadows into the corners of the room. “You’re a gay man in a straight man’s body,” Micah said with a laugh as he looked around.
