Eli started laughing again, and got up to rummage through the coats on the back of the living room door to find his own. And more importantly, his phone in the pocket.
“Smile,” he said, starting to film Rob with the baby.
Rob rolled his eyes.
“See that?” he asked Angel, still tweaking her feet. He kept shaking them between finger and thumb to make her giggle and shriek. “He’s abusing me. He knows I’m only nice first thing in the morning, and he wants to bloody well record it.” She clapped her pudgy hands, beaming, and Rob huffed. “You’re not meant to side with him! You’re my cousin, Jesus, doesn’t that count for something?”
