Tau grins. The doe can outrun Leanna over short distances or his cousin would’ve caught her by now, but if it keeps her away from Hartley, let the girls have fun. Cautiously, he asks, “So what all did you see tonight?”
“Oh, nothing.” Leanna’s voice is too contrived, too light and airy, and he knows she’s lying. The next second, she confirms it by adding, “Only some hot man-on-man sexual action back there, let me tell you! You could sell tickets to that show.”
