Chapter 22

The next week, and the next, and the one after that, Damion and Dan saw one another. They talked on the phone several times in between. On their dates they went to dinner at more casual dining establishments where Damion could dress more comfortably. However, when Damion wore his shorts with a tight tee, his muscular legs and arms put Dan’s friendship-first rule to the test.

One night, after eating, they went to a movie. Their tastes were different: Dan preferring romantic comedies, Damion action/adventure. Damion had deferred to Dan’s choice.

They went bowling, Damion trouncing Dan by over sixty pins. Miniature golf was also on the agenda. Here Dan prevailed beating Damion by seven strokes.
