Kord gazed around the foyer then looked at Doyle. “Still not seein’ anything worth a thousand bucks.”

The man behind the counter overheard the remark and spoke, “If you have a thousand dollars to spare, you’ll see why it’s worth every centime.”

“Otherwise I have to stand here like a beggar wondering what the mysteries of Folieare and how I might just get a peep at them.”

“You can come in for one of our less expensive packages. The thousand dollar one you’re thinking of includes everything your imagination can conjure plus a night’s stay in one of the exclusive spa suites. Attendants see to your every need. We should probably charge twice as much.”

“I have a feeling that the waiting list would get even longer,” Doyle said.

Before he could say more, the elevator doors whooshed open and a young blond man, dressed in extremely short shorts and a tight white tank top came striding toward them. Shapely and slender, he walked with confidence.
