With the horrors of Halloween behind them, Kiko and Dom turn their puzzle solving skills to surviving the holiday season. Dom hasn't had a proper Christmas in years, and Kiko's sister visiting makes him feel almost like family -- until his brother, Devin, decides to show up and throw his disapproval into the mix.<br><br>Just when it seems like they have enough to deal with at home, local artist Cat asks them to solve her vandalism problem. Still shaken from their last mystery, Kiko and Dom only agree to help her due to the lack of murder.<br><br>But when the property damage escalates and Kiko begins receiving threatening letters, this harmless little problem turns deadlier than anyone thought. And if they can't get to the bottom of the family drama fast enough, Kiko might never be home for the holidays again.

“I think someone’s threatening me,” said Cat, and her voice shook. 9


“It’s Sunday,” said Dom when Kiko shoved him and shut off the alarm. Dom did not want to get up today, especially since he couldn’t go to work and avoid Devin that way.


“We have guests,” said Kiko, trying to make his side of the bed. He was in boxers and a T-shirt and still looked warm and sleepy. Dom wanted to tug him back into bed and hold him for another hour, just dozing, but instead he rolled out and tugged the blankets up on his side.


“We’re up an hour early,” he said, catching sight of the clock. There was no way to tell in winter when the sun didn’t come up for hours, but Dom scowled at the window anyway.


“We have guests,” repeated Kiko, “Come on, shower with me.”
